            Received a copy of the memo forwarded from Insp. LATHEM to Vic GERDEN that includes my bulleted points providing reasons to undertake the Sky Scan examination.  Vic GORMAN handwrote his agreement to the plan.  Will now just have to wait and see what happens from the other side of the hangar.

            Insp. LATHEM and I had a conversation regarding Friday and yesterday’s incidents with Vic GORMAN.  I had a chance to explain my side of it, and he seemed to agree that Vic was a bit heavy handed in his actions.  He also agreed with my point regarding the state of the investigation, as I wrote in yesterday’s notes.  That area certainly does not appear to be a concern of his.  While he was non-committal, his real concern was that a lengthy friendship may have ended and should be put back on the rails.  Only time will tell on that point.  Vic and I have had discussions regarding my involvement in the morgue side of the investigation, and he had to apologize for his comments regarding it.  I feel that the same outcome is warranted in this instance.

(Clarification:)    Lathem was merely sounding me out and spouting hot air.  No apology would ever be forthcoming from any of them, and much worse than this was headed my way.
