00-03-29          0700    Morning routine.  Received a copy of the Philip Analytical Services report from Lee GARSTANG.  She advised that she had given a previous copy to the back office, but I knew nothing of it.  Didn’t get much time to go through it, but it seems that there is no mention of magnesium.  Will fax it off to Dr. BROWN for his perusal.

Worked on the pallets most of the day, finishing up the placement of the wires.

(Clarification:)              Even though the memo requesting the turnover of the report had gone through Gorman and Lathem, neither seems to have known about the report having been previously supplied.  Considering the importance of the magnesium question, one might think that someone in the back office would have been monitoring the situation.  However, no one was, even though they were the investigative team.  Much later I will learn that Stothart, who was responsible for the filing of such materials, had no idea who Dr. Brown was or what specialized testing he was performing.
