00-09-15          Morning routine.  Worked on notes first thing.

            Larry FOGG is back from Ottawa and spoke with him.  It seems that they did the Oxygen line test in Ottawa this week, testing if there was a leak from a capped O2 line when heated.  He said that at high heat (800 deg F), there was a slight leak around the threads, but nothing that amounts to very much, and no weakening of the cap’s structure.  John GARSTANG was present for the test.

            It may be noted that I had no indication that this test was to be performed.  It seems that since our management have given up the file, there is no need to keep us in the loop.
