01-02-23          0700    Morning routine.  Worked on notes, and, as routinely done during the day, provided photos and other information to Bill FERGUSON and his people on various exhibits.  Also, Ted finished providing the update of the MD-11 tour.

            John GARSTANG called advising that he is having GERDEN contact LATHEM to change the dates of when I move out of the hangar.

            One other thing that came out of the meeting on Tuesday was the fact that the aluminium samples that were sent to be examined in Vancouver late last fall could not be examined due to the magnesium levels in the aluminium alloy.  Because the level was approx. 2.5%, it interferes with the readings in trying to find the aluminium isotopes created when struck with an ion beam.  Insp. LATHEM provided this information.
