01-06-18          Attendance at the Forensic Identification Workshop.  While there, had occasion to meet one of the members who had actually been involved in the ‘reading of the notes’ which had occurred in Ottawa in 01FEB??.  He was asked what instructions he had received prior to the reading.  His instructions from Vic GORMAN had been to look for anything that indicated actions contrary to Force policy, anything that indicated or could be interpreted as a disclosure of the cause of the crash, and anything that indicated an unusual behaviour or something out of the ordinary.  He was handed a sheaf of papers and told to read them, totalling about one hundred pages.
