02-01-04          RTO    Received an email at home from John GARSTANG, again thanking me for all the work that I had done, and for the effort to support their activities.  John certainly has the knack of being able to make things go easier.  I have only worked for one other guy who has the same leadership ability, and that was Ken BAIRD in New Minas.  John has the ability to get you to do anything for him, work all day, and still think that you should be doing more to help him.  One of the reasons is that he treats you as an equal, explains everything that he does, and he also works himself to no end to accomplish the task, qualities that are lacking from some of my other ‘leaders’.
