The Commanding Officer took the easy way out
by not deciding on the merits
of the complaint. He simply ruled that
it was expedient to seal the assessment and
reach a resolution suitable to all,
considering the fact that I was now out of
the Force. I received a phone call
prior to this to clarify if this would be
acceptable, and it was implied that they
considered the effort to be meaningless and
a complete waste of time. I merely
agreed without explaining why I needed this
to happen. They didn't realize that I
had a complaint in with Ottawa Headquarters
regarding the promotion board, and that I
needed this assessment to be quashed so that
the comments on the PRP forms written by
Lathem and Gorman could then be ruled as
inadmissible. It wasn't until
it was too late that they realized they had
passed the problem on to Ottawa. |
